Ira Brooker
Ira Brooker, an M.F.A. graduate of Columbia College Chicago's Fiction Writing program, is the founder and co-editor of No Touching, a well-regarded journal of creative non-fiction. His publishing credits include Make Magazine, South Loop Review, City Pages, The Drama, and many more. His work has been featured in three consecutive editions of Columbia College's Hair Trigger, including a David Friedman Memorial Award-winning essay in the 28th edition. He recently completed his first memoir, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love New Orleans, and is currently working on getting it published.

Steven Finkelstein
Steven Finkelstein is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh’s English Writing program. He has written two novels, a screenplay, and many short stories, essays, and poems. His work has appeared in Expressions Journal, Farmhouse, Freight Train, and Bare Back. Kevin McGowan
Kevin McGowan is a former Columbia College Chicago student and studied Fiction Writing. He has written three creative non-fiction novels in the past two years, which he is in the process of trying to get published. He plans to continue his autobiographical novel series throughout his life. His latest project is a collection of fictional short stories based off of missed connections he reads on Craigslist.

Michael K. Meyers
Michael K. Meyers has had his audio flash fiction (“story-songs”) appear online at Mad Hatter, 2River, and Fringe. His fiction is in print in Quick Fiction, Fiction, Chelsea, Chicago Noir, The New Yorker, and others. You can find his fiction online at Word Riot, and his video, “The Cat, The Canary, The Spoon & His Intoxicating Friend”, can be seen online at 9th Letter. He has worked as a performance artist at MoMA L.A. Institute of Contemporary Art, Warsaw Center for Contemporary Art, and more. He teaches in the graduate writing and interdisciplinary programs at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago.

Luis Perez
Chicago-native Luis Perez writes about insight to better appreciate the events we encounter; in this case, a privately catered dinner.

Alexandra Rodriguez
Alexandra Rodriguez was born in Chicago, Illinois. She began writing short stories at the age of eight, when she won the Young Author’s Contest at Maria Saucedo Scholastic Academy. At the age of eleven, her family moved to San Angelo, Texas, where she gave up writing and began playing music. Recently, she moved back to Chicago to attend Columbia College Chicago, where she is studying film and video. She has taken up writing again and is writing stories for potential film opportunities.

Steffani Schlierf
Originally from the suburbs of Buffalo, New York, Steffani Schlierf is now a Fiction Writing Major at Columbia College Chicago. She writes both poetry and fiction and enjoys combining the two in her work.

Karen Schmidt
Karen Schmidt is a student working towards a Bachelor's degree in telling detailed and intricate lies, or for all professional purposes, Fiction Writing, at Columbia College Chicago. Her work has previously appeared in NewCity and she has an upcoming publication in the literary zine The Titanium Spork. She is the founder of Feedback! Notes on Music, a musically inspired reading series supporting local authors, and hopes to one day become the next Joyce Carol Oates. Fingers crossed.

Rich Summins
Rich Summins is a woefully underpaid paralegal and middle-aged dilettante who lives in the Chicago area. He has previously been published in StarLine.
